The Easiest Way to Get Transcripts: New and Improved Checkout
Ordering automatic transcripts just got easier. Temi’s new and improved checkout experience makes it simple to:
- Order multiple files at once
- Paste links from YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc.
How to Place a Multi-File Order
Rather than uploading one file at a time, place a single transcript order for as many files as you need. The process for ordering multiple transcripts is the same as ordering a single transcript, you just upload more than one file before checking out.
To place a multi-file order, log in to your Temi account and click the big blue “Get Started” button.
Click “Upload Files” to choose audio and video files from your computer that you want to have transcribed.
To select multiple files at once on a Mac, hold Command + Click on the file. On a PC, hold Shift + Click.
Add Additional Files by Pasting a Link
You can also request transcripts of videos that are hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Facebook, etc., by clicking “Paste URLs” and then copying + pasting the link of the video you want to have transcribed.
Once you’ve copied your URL, paste one URL per line in the Temi checkout. Click the “Add” button once you’ve finished pasting URLs.
Your files will automatically begin uploading to Temi. Once they are complete, you will see the total number of minutes and cost to process your order. In this instance, 8 minutes of video costs 80 cents to transcribe.
Click “Checkout”, enter your credit card information, and place your order.
Your order will be delivered to your email from help@temi.com in full, all at one time.
Wrap-up
Journalists, filmmakers, and other media professionals are often working on projects made up of more than one recording. Having the ability to place an entire transcript order at one time not only saves time, but it helps users stay organized. We’re constantly working to improve automatic transcription for our customers. If there’s a feature you’d like to see, please drop us a line at temisupport@temi.com.
